This year, for the 2022 programme, the Croydon Business Excellence Awards have partnered with local not-for-profit organisation, The CNBA Foundation, to bring you a one-off, standalone category, the Inspirational Young Person of the Year Award.
Established in 2019, The CNBA Foundation was developed from the legacy of Carl Nathaniel Beatson-Asiedu, a Croydon community champion. The foundation endeavours to cultivate the essence of his spirit in creating opportunities in the Arts.
The Inspirational Young Person of the Year will celebrate those outstanding young people in Croydon who work hard to inspire others with their energy and positive attitude.
This award is open to young adults aged between 16 and 21, who are dedicated to their future in business and are using their experiences and knowledge to inspire others. They may well have overcome obstacles and barriers. They will likely share many qualities; from drive and ambition, confidence and vision, to tenacity and a caring attitude.
The Inspirational Young Person of the Year award will not only show what young people can achieve, it will also identify inspirational young adults who have chosen to embrace a better future.
